In addition to talk therapy, I am an EMDR practitioner and use this treatment to relieve trauma and advance clinical treatments. Isn't it odd that the most impactful relationships in our life is something we are never taught how to engage in? I see couples for constructive premarital counseling, recovery from a relational trauma (like an affair or breech of trust) or right on the brink of a breakup. Wherever the couple is, our work begins.
I work with adult individuals and couples (heterosexual, queer and same sex couples). I offer clinical supervision to other professionals and graduate students. I have a great deal of training and experience as a clinical supervisor and a professor. As a giant nerd: I take my continued learning very seriously. Staying on top of research is a priority.
