I am accepting new clients in Maine for EMDR Therapy. I came to therapy by way of a writing classroom & a yoga mat. Years of teaching English at the college level, alongside 15 years of teaching yoga, ground my work in deep attention to language, the body, & their intersection—an orientation that shapes my clinical work.
For over 7 years, I’ve worked with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, & the often hard-to-name sense of feeling stuck. I take all of it seriously—especially what resists easy language.
EMDR is central to my practice, working where trauma lives—in the nervous system & body, where insight alone isn’t always enough.
My approach is compassionate, client-centered, and grounded in genuine connection. EMDR is central to my work, supporting meaningful change—especially for trauma. I integrate IFS & somatic approaches, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, & visualization. Each approach is in service of you—not applied by formula—meeting you where you are to create real, lasting change.
