“Don’t try to be good, try to understand.” I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor with Lavender Wellness. I hold the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to invest in their well-being, and that therapy is one of the greatest investments one could make. I work to create a safe, cathartic outlet for everyone who comes through my door; I encourage reframing of negative thought patterns, and strive to meet every client with the empathetic understanding that they deserve.
After working as a BHT for children on the autism spectrum in a local agency, I pivoted to private practice to provide holistic care to all individuals. I am an eclectic theorist, and especially enjoy using Person-Centered & Psychodynamic approaches for my clients. I work with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and eating disorders.
I am a Nationally Certified Counselor with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Scranton, and I am a member of the American and Pennsylvania Counseling Association. I accept Highmark, Blue Cross, and Aetna insurance.
In addition to my Pennsylvania licensure, I also hold licensure in Michigan and Florida.
