I'm Emily, and I'm passionate about working with kids, parents, and young adults who are navigating strong emotions, significant life changes, or just trying to better understand themselves. My clients often come in feeling overwhelmed: dealing with anxiety, depression, school stress, identity questions, or childhood trauma. I aim to provide a space where clients can be themselves, learn new ways to cope, and feel supported as they grow and process the hard parts of life.

Having a strong connection with your therapist is a huge predictor of success in therapy! Knowing this, I take a person-centered approach while pulling from evidence-based practices (such as ACT and CBT) to meet your needs in a way that feels conversational and natural. I specialize in childhood trauma, and am a rostered TF-CBT provider.

Starting therapy is a big step, and it’s okay if you’re feeling unsure. My goal is to offer a space that feels supportive and grounded, and where you feel comfortable showing up just as you are. In our first session, we’ll talk about what’s been going on and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy, and we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.
