If you’re seeking freedom and healing from wounds that keep you from enjoying an abundant life, are in need of relationship repair, desire to grow your Christian walk, or need someone to help you find and reach your purpose, I can help! My desire is to facilitate hope and healing to each of my clients as they navigate through life's challenges. I base my work on a strong Biblical foundation and work with children, adolescents, and adults in individual and couples sessions.
When working with children, I use a wide range of techniques that include play, expressive arts, music and movement techniques, and bibliotherapy. When working with adolescents/adults I use the latest research on brain development, as well as training in mindfulness and relaxation techniques to equip clients with skills and tools for successful daily living.
I use a holistic approach in my sessions, addressing the needs of body, mind, and spirit. My experience as a teacher, school counselor, and fitness instructor allow me to bring a unique perspective to each counseling session. I am trained in Emotional Freedom Technique & EMDR which help reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD, & aid in pain management.
