Hello and welcome to therapy! My name is Emily and I am an LCSW therapist, licensed in both Utah and Colorado. I enjoy working with clients from different backgrounds and walk of life. I find it very satisfying to support and witness their growth journey, especially as they shed negative perception of themselves. I strongly believe that all my client have the ability to create the changes they desire. My goal is to help them discover the tools and the environment necessary to create and sustain these changes.
I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 10 years working in the mental health field. I'm experienced in working with individuals aged 18 and older who have suffered various types of mental health difficulties. My areas of focus are helping others navigate their grief/bereavement journey. I also specialize in working with neurodivergent individuals
Therapy is work and starting it can be daunting! Starting this journey and addressing long ignored issues is as scary as it is courageous. My goal is to be a guide and a support for my clients on their path of recovery. For this reason, I invest the time and energy to connect and establish a strong therapeutic alliance with them.
