Establishing a trusting relationship and environment that is warm and supportive where clients feel safe and motivated to engage in their therapeutic journey is my essential goal. My approach to therapy is formulated by the uniqueness of the person along with the uniqueness of the environmental and familial systems within which they have developed. Over the past 23 years I have worked with individuals, groups, families, and couples and have treated several mental and emotional health issues. Some of these issues include: Depression, Anxiety, Grief, ADHD, Self-Esteem, Life Transitions, Relationship/Family, and Attachment.
I work well with transitional, self-esteem, and attachment related matters that uniquely impact individuals and their relationships. I also generally work well with anxiety and helping people understand and develop ways to more effectively manage the various, complex, and even unsettling and scary manifestations of their anxiety.
Helping clients develop insight, awareness, and acceptance in order to achieve mental and emotional growth are fundamental concepts that I incorporate into my practice. The human condition is multidimensional and I embrace the opportunity to explore, support, and help evolve these dimensions alongside another and share in such an enriching process.
