About
Therapy can be a process of both healing and growing. Together we can explore important aspects of your past, while working to improve your present. I foster warm and collaborative relationships with my patients so that they feel understood, supported, and appropriately challenged. As your therapist, I would be committed to helping you develop the tools and mindset necessary to face present and future challenges. I would also support you in achieving greater self-acceptance, authenticity, and more satisfying relationships. I approach each new therapy relationship with curiosity, flexibility, and openness.
Through my work in university settings, I have developed an interest and insight into the unique experiences of students and young professionals. This time of transition in one's life is full of separation, connection, and impactful decisions. Many of my patients seek therapy to work through issues of identity, family concerns, relationships, and careers.
Therapy is a tremendously personal experience and its success often lies in finding the right fit between therapist and patient. I encourage you to browse my website to learn more about my approach; and I invite you to call for a free phone consultation to determine if I might be a good fit for you.
