Hello, my name is Lee and I look forward to connecting with you. Taking the first step towards therapy can be daunting, but it can also be profoundly transformative. As someone who has experienced the impact of therapy firsthand, I understand its power for deep healing and I am grateful to give this back to others as I have received it myself. In our sessions, we'll work together to navigate your past traumas, heal old wounds, and empower you to shape your present and future according to your desires.
My approach is person-centered because I believe you are the ultimate authority on your own life. I base my approach in intersectional and trauma-informed perspectives and I draw from Psychodynamic, Internal Family Systems, Inner Child Work, DBT and many other therapies to help you identify and break free from patterns and cycles that no longer serve you.
As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I am deeply committed to serving my community and creating a space where my clients feel seen, heard, and valued. I center my professional practice in anti-oppressive principles, continuously striving to decolonize the therapy space and educate myself on decolonized therapeutic practices.
