Welcome to a safe place. My goal is to create a calm therapeutic virtual environment, where each person can relax, feel supported and express whatever comes to mind. This is a judgment free zone, where no subject is off limits. I take a non-directive approach and allow you to be the boss. Whether you are wanting to learn about healthy boundaries, are open to understanding your emotional or physical distress and where your belief systems come from, we will work to help you reconnect with yourself, become more grounded and present, improve interpersonal relationships and grow your connection to the world around you.
I use a variety of therapeutic treatments in my work with clients. Every person is different and thus, each session requires an individualized approach. I combine mindfulness, mind-body connectivity, psychodynamic, internal family systems therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to support releasing and healing trauma in order to promote growth.
I have Type 1 Diabetes, which has taught me that mental and physical health issues often go hand in hand. Any time you experience a physical sensation, it is accompanied by an emotion and vice versa. My goal is to connect the dots between the body and mind help you acknowledge the signals your body sends, build insight and support emotion regulation.
