My goal for counseling is to provide compassion for the parts of my clients that have become forgotten or neglected. I go alongside my clients as a cheerleader and sometimes skills trainer for their mental health goals. I have experience providing mental health services to teen and adult survivors of sexual assault, underserved populations, and clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and the effects of trauma. I enjoy helping my clients create healthy boundaries and make sense of their emotions, behaviors, and thoughts. I am also available to help clients use their faith as a resource for healing.
I can help you by being a calming, genuine, and understanding support. I utilize techniques such as IFS (Internal Family Systems), AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy), and person-centered therapy to meet you where you are. I can even help you find creative outlets for expression, such as using art as a means of therapy.
I have first hand experience using therapy and creativity in my own healing journey. I know that opening up about yourself can be difficult, that is why I let you set the pace on your healing journey.
