I help clients to understand their overwhelming emotions and how these emotions can affect our daily lives. Using this approach builds trust with clients and insight of understanding my therapeutic approach.
I am a person-centered therapist with 12+ years of clinical and medical social work offering individual and family therapy. I specialize in Anxiety, Depression, Teen Therapy, & Trauma. I have an integrative approach to therapy using modalities like CBT, DBT, Self-Compassion, and IFS. I also incorporate an understanding of how our bodies respond to trauma.
In our work together I will empower you to make the choices that will be meaningful to you. I do this by offering empathy and understanding for how therapy is a vulnerable experience that can bring up a lot of emotions. And giving you the space to feel these emotions.
