I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who is committed to quality care. I graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Masters of Science in Social Work as well as a Graduate Certificate in the Treatment of Trauma. I work with a variety of clients who choose to come to therapy for things ranging from every day life stress to mental health crises. I am a good fit for patients who carry a diagnosis of mood disorder, personality disorder, or trauma and stress related disorder. My clinical specialty is maternal mental health.
I have training in CBT, DBT, EXRP, and Perinatal/Maternal Mental Health. My approach to therapy is trauma informed in nature and always begins with the question “What happened to you?” versus “What is wrong with you?” I am presently working towards a Perinatal Mental Health certification through Postpartum Support International.
