I am a trauma specialist with a particular interest in treating the effects of Religious Trauma Syndrome, those affected by spiritual abuse, and cult recovery. If you feel you have been left hurt and confused after leaving a controlling religious organization, allow me to create a safe place to share your story. I am not a faith-based therapist and am happy to welcome clients in all stages of the questioning and deconstructing process.
I have also recently enjoyed working with peri- and postpartum mental health, including birth trauma, and love supporting new parents in every stage of their journey.
I utilize evidence-based interventions of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, DBT, and Internal Family Systems for an eclectic approach tailored personally to each client.
My first priority is creating a safe and validating environment so that clients can show up authentically, leading to deeper work. My therapeutic style is relaxed and focused on empowering the individual in making decisions that affirm their values.
