Hi, I’m Emily! My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space in which clients can explore challenges and work toward positive growth and change. I operate with an integrative approach, combining various therapeutic modalities including strengths-based therapy, person-centered therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy in order to help clients achieve their goals. I work with adults and teens through various issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, etc.
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Slippery Rock University, as well as a Master of Arts in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh where I focused on Direct Practice with Individuals, Families, and Small Groups. I also obtained a certificate in Mental Health from the University of Pittsburgh and earned my license in social work in 2013
I know firsthand how difficult it can be to face the darkness and challenges life presents. It is my intent to walk alongside you toward a brighter, more fulfilling life.
