As your counselor, it's my goal to ensure that you have a safe space to bring any feelings and challenges that you might be experiencing. I strongly believe that the therapeutic experience is different for each client, and that your experiences and stories are unique to you. You're the expert in your own life. In therapy, I like to use a person centered approach, meaning I want to meet you where you are at, and allow you to have a an active role in your treatment. Once we have developed a relationship and established goals, we can create a treatment plan that feels right for you.
The most important thing to me, is that you feel safe in my space. I want you to feel comfortable, heard, and supported. I truly believe that no one is perfect (I know I'm not), so coming into session, you're welcome to be yourself! My goal as your counselor is to make the therapeutic process as welcoming as possible.
Starting therapy is hard (and scary), I get it! Taking that first step is always the hardest, but I encourage you to do it. You're not alone! I strive to make my office, and sessions a safe space for clients to be comfortable and be themselves. I hope to meet you soon! I am most available via email for communication.

This group is for any individuals (14-18 years old) who identify within the LGBTQIA+ community. We are facilitating a 6 week open group to discuss identity, community, and connection. The group starts on Monday, October 30th, and goes until December 4th, it takes place Monday evenings from 5:30pm-7:00pm. This group meets in person only at this time. The sign up form can be found on our website reflectionsmentalhealthservices.com. We would love to see you there!
