As your counselor, it's my goal to ensure that you have a safe space to bring any feelings and challenges that you might be experiencing. I strongly believe that the therapeutic experience is different for each client, and that your experiences and stories are unique to you. You're the expert in your own life. In therapy, I like to use a person centered approach, meaning I want to meet you where you are at, and allow you to have a an active role in your treatment. Once we have developed a relationship and established goals, we can create a treatment plan that feels right for you.

The most important thing to me, is that you feel safe in my space. I want you to feel comfortable, heard, and supported. I truly believe that no one is perfect (I know I'm not), so coming into session, you're welcome to be yourself! My goal as your counselor is to make the therapeutic process as welcoming as possible.

Starting therapy is hard (and scary), I get it! Taking that first step is always the hardest, but I encourage you to do it. You're not alone! Lifting the Weight; A Depression Group

This group is for individuals 18-25 (Tuesdays) and 25-40 (Thursdays), we will meet virtually. The timing of the group will depend on the group members availability. Group will run from December 2nd-January 1st. We will discuss identity, self care, confidence, and negative self talk.
