Do you ever feel stuck between caring for others and caring for yourself? I know it’s not easy to open up about your needs, and I’m really glad you’re looking for your own support. I’ve been a caregiver by nature, by profession, and by family circumstances over the course of my life, and I know how hard it is to take care of others while trying not to lose yourself. I am passionate about helping other caregivers to give the best care they can while also caring for themselves. I will bring you evidence-based strategies for dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, and perfectionism as well as what I’ve learned from my own experience.
Sometimes caregivers feel anxiety, disappointment, anger, stress, and grief. You might be coping with the loss of time, expectations for the future, or the death of a loved one you cared for. With a focus on your particular experience of grief, I will help you process the losses you have experienced as well as consider your “new normal” when you are ready.
I know times are tough, and taking care of yourself doesn't always come naturally. Let’s work together to help you live and work more effectively. Therapy will help you talk through your struggles, remember your strengths, and find strategies to cope with caregiving, anxiety, and loss. You really can feel better, and you don't have to do this alone.
