Hi. You have tried so hard! You've gone to therapy, maybe even for years, but nothing has really worked. You’ve tried workbooks, followed instagram accounts, all of it. I’m at my best as a therapist when working with clients who have found traditional talk therapy helpful at first, but eventually, ineffective. Therapists are not magic, but you have the medicine inside you to heal yourself, from trauma, broken relationships, all of it. I love working with helpers, including fellow therapists, and folks who are ready to be their own healers. I have a special interest in working with sufferers of chronic and life-threatening disease.
I am certified in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and in Janina Fisher's Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST). I have completed the Internal Family Systems level 1 training. I am also an approved consultant with the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute and can provide consultation to providers interested in somatic approaches.
As a trauma therapist, I am absolutely committed to providing the best treatment possible to my clients. I try to keep current with the latest knowledge about trauma treatment and I don't mess around. I'm not here to waste your time or money. Trauma therapy is difficult enough, its important to feel like you can trust your therapist to do their job.
