At times, a traumatic experience is the root of our constant anxiety, feeling unsettled, or intense emotional reactions. I utilize memory reconsolidation to eliminate PTSD symptoms whether you've experienced a traumatic event (a car accident, assault, etc.) or ongoing trauma (growing up with a parent with substance abuse, etc.). You deserve your life back.
I also specialize in working with teen and adult adoptees and adoptive parents. Adoption Therapy helps adoptees better understand their story, explore their identity, and process grief and trauma related to adoption. I help adoptive parents better understand developmental trauma and use therapeutic parenting strategies to build strong attachments.
