Are you looking for a counselor to help with life's difficulties? I am at the Alamo Ranch location, San Antonio Counseling and Behavioral Center, for all age levels. I am a strength-based clinician who wants to build upon the client’s successes, talents, coping skills, interests and personal skills. I will use psychodynamic principals and cognitive-behavior interventions to help my clients improve their life. I can also work with parents on developing strategies for the success of their children.
I have worked in the mental health field for more than 25 years. I have a Master’s in Agency Counseling and hold a Texas License as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have had training in CBT, DBT, EMDR and play therapy.
I have had a life full of experiences as a military spouse and a mother. I have had an opportunity to work in many settings that has given me the ability to understand and empathize. I enjoy working with all ages and in helping parents.
