I believe that life is inevitably full of transition, difficulties, losses, and even failure, as much as joy, success, and contentment. It is easy to get stuck or stumped trying to navigate challenging relationships, circumstances, and seasons. I want to help clients map a redemptive path forward fitting to them and to support them in taking new steps towards their goals. I aim to provide a listening ear, steady encouragement, and knowledgable presence that helps clients discover their dignity, adaptability, hope, and resilience. I work with adults, young adults, older teens, couples, and families.
I assist clients with mental health issues, life events and transitions, and relationships. I am trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention (to treat OCD), and Perinatal Anxiety & Mood Disorders. I have a background in ministry with young adults and am comfortable engaging a client’s faith perspective, when desired.
As a Licensed Associate Counselor, I take several insurance plans, and my rates are very affordable for anyone without mental health benefits. I currently work three days a week at Water’s Edge Counseling Services, in Fayetteville, AR, conveniently located just off I-49.
