Emily specializes in working with women transitioning into motherhood and enjoys working with clients of all developmental ages and backgrounds. Her experience includes conducting individual and group therapy and helping women to understand the context in which they view themselves as women and as mothers and how this may or may not contribute to distress.
Emily’s therapeutic approach with clients is genuine, compassionate, flexible, and collaborative. She views the strong therapeutic bond she creates with her clients as the most important healing pathway for improved emotional experiences that can then be generalized to clients’ lives.
