I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Art Therapist with over six years of experience working with adolescents and adults ages 14+. My background includes helping individuals as they navigate substance use recovery, trauma, anxiety, grief and loss, and major life transitions. I also have experience supporting LGBTQ+ clients and strive to provide affirming, inclusive care where all identities are welcomed and valued. I have a specialization in trauma informed art therapy, which helps me support healing with my clients without having to re-live negative experiences.
My approach combines traditional talk therapy with art therapy, allowing clients an opportunity to explore emotions, process experiences, and build meaningful change in a unique way. No need for any artistic background or skills to enjoy and benefit from the art therapy process! Clients are not required to engage in art therapy if they do not wish to.
During our first session together, you and I will get to know each other more, identify your goals, and begin to develop a plan that is best for you to achieve those goals.
