My goal is providing client focused interactive counseling with adolescents and adults seeking support when life gets overwhelming. I understand the idea of therapy may be overwhelming and even weird at first...please let me know how I can help make this process a little easier! My office is located in Flower Mound close to Flower Mound High School.
Areas of focus include; substance and alcohol misuse, eating disorders, and trauma resolution. I'm EMDR Certified and trained in Critical Incident Response Management. Additionally, I am trained in Animal Assisted Therapy through the University of N. Texas and incorporate my trained dog with clients as they choose.
It is important to work with my clients (and parents if applicable) to determine goals and develop a treatment plan for each client. EMDR can help client get "unstuck" and provide trauma resolution and reduce current symptoms. I am also a board approved Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor.
