I have never heard anyone say, " When I grow up, I want to go to therapy." In fact, many forays into therapy are often preceded by unbearable distress and a sense of profound desperation. You may often feel trapped doubtful of your ability to navigate your way through the darkness. This is where the journey can begin. Together we will create your own personal strategic responses to the unpredictable challenges set forth by the human condition. I will be offering 30+ years of adult person-centered counseling incentivized by a comprehensive study of depth psychology heavily influenced by the interpretations of Jungian Psychology.
In therapy you will be provided with a safe and non-judgmental non-interfering environment to develop strategies and techniques that facilitate successful and effective responses to concerns perhaps related to interpersonal conflict, stress in relation to addiction and mental health related concerns or how we might navigate the personal tragedies we face.
Life can be very difficult, and it seems we are preconditioned to seek therapy as a last option. Unfortunately, the stigma associated with mental health issues is the problem here. Simply giving the psyche time and attention is all it appears to be asking of us. I look forward to connecting with you as we lend time and attention to the care of the soul.
