I use Somatic Experiencing (SE), hypnosis, and Parts work (IFS) in my practice. Although those are the main treatment types, a non-judgmental atmosphere, humor, and compassion can be just as important. In the first part of a session we will often do Somatic Experiencing to settle in, and either do a whole session SE, or do hypnosis in the the second half of the session.
