Announcement icon I am accepting new clients for virtual appointments. Learn more about me and my services at www.noushinenavabi.com.
I am a LGBTQ+ affirming therapist and work closely with minority groups and immigrants. My goal is to provide a safe, direct, and compassionate environment in order to help clients gain deeper insight and acceptance in the face of adversity. I enjoy working with adolescents & adults that struggle with a variety of issues, including but not limited to the ones listed below. I am committed to providing individualized treatment by honoring clients' needs and goals in order to facilitate the most meaningful change for them. Change is often uncomfortable for people but I will be right there with you through that process.
I believe in taking a holistic approach when it comes to mental health. I have been trained in EMDR and somatic psychotherapy, which can be used to target a wide range of issues as well as help attain mind and body congruence. I believe the past is present, which is why I focus on addressing the root of the problem.
Trauma and stress can manifest in different ways depending on the individual. Unhealthy behaviors/beliefs are often developed as a method of coping with something too painful or overwhelming. You don't need to hurt alone. We can't undo the past, but can work together towards healing so you can start being present for the people and things you love in life.
