Trauma leaves us feeling disoriented, hopeless and disconnected from ourselves and others. You’re someone who deeply desires to feel safe and connected with yourself and others but still find yourself ruled by trauma, feeling out of control of your emotions and reactions, and feeling shame that you can’t “get it together.” . You have an idea of how you want to show up in your relationships and life but have no idea how to get there . But you’re ready to make a change. You’re ready to no longer give trauma the final say. You’re ready to feel more grounded and safe and therefore live the life you want to live.
I specialize in working with adults struggling with post traumatic stress-whether from a one time event or a history of traumatic events. Clients come to me looking for a therapist who can offer the warmth, safety and compassion needed for trauma recovery paired with extensive training in EMDR, Polyvagal Theory and Complex PTSD.
Trauma recovery deeply matters to me on a personal and professional level. I sincerely believe in only taking clients where I myself have gone and am committed to my own healing journey so that I can effectively partner with you on yours.
