I believe that we all do what we know based on what we have learned, beliefs we have adopted, and/or experiences we have been through. It is my belief that once we become aware of the patterns we have created in our lives, we can then consciously decide to change situations that we are not satisfied with. In order to heal I believe it is important to empower individuals to tell their stories while feeling every emotion without judgment.
I counsel individuals who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, life changes, who desire more fulfilling relationships, and who want to work through behavior patterns that are getting in the way of finding happiness.
I am a Certified EMDR therapist and provide EMDR as an additional treatment modality to assist people in their healing process.
