Hello! I'm Vlasta, an EMDR therapist, and I’m here to support you through life's challenges. I specialize in helping individuals heal from trauma, anxiety, PTSD, phobias, addiction, and the struggles that come with life transitions and relationships. Whatever you’re going through, I believe that with the right support, you can choose how you move through it. My goal is to help you feel grounded in the present while gently exploring the past to create lasting healing.
Trauma isn't just about what happens to us; it's about how our bodies and minds respond. Often, traumatic experiences aren’t fully processed by our nervous system, and they can feel like they’re stuck in time, replaying over and over. EMDR therapy is a powerful tool to help us get "unstuck" and begin the healing process.
On a personal note, I believe that my diverse life experiences help me connect with my clients in a meaningful way. I am originally from Ukraine, was a competitive gymnast from a young age, coached gymnastics for 15 years, and even tried boxing for fun in my 20s! I enjoy doing EMDR therapy with adult clients.
