Hi! I'm Donna Vorst. I specialize in helping adults with addiction issues, leveraging two decades of experience in therapeutic movement work and several years as a counselor at Embodied Recovery where I lead groups in Inner Child work, Eco-Therapy, Mindfulness Loving Self, and Breathwork. My personal journey towards healing began with a full recovery from an eating disorder many years ago. I understand finding the right help can be a challenge, and I admire those who take the initiative to seek help.
I’m deeply interested in your personal story—how your past experiences have shaped you and the parts of yourself you may be protecting through your addiction. Together, we’ll build a therapeutic relationship where you feel both supported and challenged, allowing you to address the root causes of your distress.
I work in an integrative, holistic way, bringing together talk therapy, mindfulness and somatic practices, and incorporating creative ways to work with challenges. My style is direct, kind, and supportive. I approach tough conversations with honesty and will challenge you when needed.
