Hi and welcome! My name is Elyse and I am a somatic psychotherapist specializing in anxiety, complex/relational trauma, and eating disorders. I believe that with some courage, commitment, and hope, the change you want to see can happen, and that even a little can go a long way. I understand that what is hurting you may also be protecting you, and that letting go is no easy feat. I'm here though, to hold your hand, cheer you on, and remind you that you can do this.
I approach therapy through a trauma-informed lens, weaving together Somatic Experiencing, IFS, attachment-based therapy, and CBT to help clients better understand themselves, regulate their nervous systems, and manage life with more ease. My style is warm, gentle, and patient. I never impose an agenda, and respect each client’s unique goals and needs.
I am passionate about helping my clients realize their worth and how strong and resilient they really are. I am always in awe of the obstacles my clients overcome, and would be honored to believe in you on the days you struggle to believe in yourself.
