I am warm, compassionately direct, down-to-earth, and witty. I have been told I have a calming and grounding presence. I bring more than 20 years experience as a therapist working with individuals and couples in a wide variety of clinical settings. I specialize in couples counseling, addictions and substance use, trauma, relationship concerns, grief, depression, and mood disorders, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and personality disorders. Having a safe, non-judgmental person to confide in can be very healing. Most of us have few experiences of being unconditionally accepted, empowered, or encouraged to live our authentic self with courage.
I am intentional, thoughtful, and committed to your growth and wellbeing. I always aim to provide a safe environment where you can explore your concerns. I also offer feedback, tools, strategies, and new perspectives that will challenge your normal ways of thinking and behaving and try to facilitate skill-building to help you maintain long-lasting change.
The first step of finding a therapist can be scary and the process of scrolling through a seemingly endless stream of profiles can be overwhelming. Even so, it is worth doing your research here and checking out my bio on my website (which is not restricted by character limits). Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.
