Hello, my name is Elsie Peña, and I feel honored you have chosen me to meet you here in this moment of life where you find yourself in currently. I am an LPC licensed in the state of Texas, I am passionate about guiding individuals and families toward mental, emotional, behavioral, spiritual, and relational well-being. I specialize in culturally appropriate counseling, with a focus on addressing mental health challenges related to immigration stress, acculturation difficulties, discrimination, grief, intergenerational family conflict, suicide, depression, and life transitions.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative and client-centered, blending Person-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Somatic approaches, and expressive and creative techniques. I also incorporate play therapy when it benefits the healing process. Together, we’ll explore your experiences and work towards goals like overcoming anxiety, building confidence etc.
