Hi there, I'm Elsa! I love life and people and the love of those two things has shaped me into who I am today and is the reason why I do what I do. I am a licensed Bilingual (Spanish/English) clinical social worker who earned her master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. I utilize a trans-theoretical approach that is client-centered, considers the person in their environment, and have included evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Emotion Focused Therapy in my treatment to name a few but do not limit myself to unique holistic practices as well.
I have a wealth of experience in helping develop others and helping them become all they are called to be. I have had the opportunity to counsel children, youth, and adults/families over the past 15 years using different approaches like CBT, TF-CBT, Trauma Informed Care, and will explore current cutting-edge approaches to engage advanced status (DBT/EMDR).
I believe every person has potential for greatness and that with the right direction, counseling, and insight everyone can live extraordinary and vibrant lives. My goal has always been to get a good understanding of how people think and why they do what they do. I have assisted individuals to understand and grow in areas such as purpose and destiny.
