About
Seeking therapy takes immense courage, and the therapy session should be a place to explore, question, struggle, and heal without judgment. As a clinical mental health intern and licensed alcohol and drug counselor, I utilize a systemic, feminist approach that honors the innate dignity, worth, and capacity for change in all human beings. I believe that healing and change happen in our relationships to others and to a global sense of humanity. I strive to create a safe relationship in which to practice interpersonal healing, utilizing the therapeutic relationship and process as the primary tool for creating change.
I have a passion for collective healing, social justice, anti-racism, intersectional feminism, pleasure-based positive sexuality, and trauma-informed care. I have experience working with issues related to substance use and cooccurring mental health issues, codependency, sex and sexuality, trauma, family of origin and attachment, and neurodiversity.
I’m particularly interested in working with queer and trans people, adolescents, and couples; I enjoy doing deeper/long term/shadow work. I appreciate the courage it takes to seek support, and I welcome any questions you may have before deciding to schedule an appointment.
