I have been licensed as an LPC in the state of Virginia since 2022 and working in the mental health field since 2017. My main areas of expertise include working through traumatic experiences, anxiety and depressive disorders, OCD and personality disorders as well as family systems impacted by personality disorders. I enjoy working with older children, teens, and young adults. My experience has been mainly working with anxiety disorders, depression, OCD, behavioral disorders (ODD, ADHD), eating disorders in teens, personality disorders as well as trauma.
In all my work with clients, I maintain a person-centered approach. Essentially, this means that I assume my client is the expert on their own life and I work by providing them space to process their thoughts/feelings and draw from their inner strengths to make positive changes in their lives. I also utilize strength-based and CBT interventions.
I work to create in comfortable environment in which the client feels they are able to speak freely without judgement about any topic.
