Current Openings as of 9/12/2023. My approach to therapy is collaborative, relational, and individually tailored. I strive to create an affirming environment in which you can feel deeply understood with an emphasis on building a strong therapeutic relationship. By having an empathic space, I believe people can feel safe to more deeply understand their patterns while exploring their emotions in the present moment without fear of judgment. I use interpersonal process and feminist theories with emotion-focused, mindfulness, and somatic interventions.
I am guided by values of cultural humility and social justice, and I am committed to examining systems of power and oppression that may be contributing to distress and marginalization. I strive to consistently examine how my intersecting identities of privilege and oppression present in the room and how these interact with your intersecting identities.
As a queer therapist, I'm passionate about providing an affirming space for all people to grow more fully into their authentic selves. I work well with those wanting a deeper relationship to Self and others, increased self-compassion, and greater awareness of the impact of oppressive structures on their lived experiences. I respond most efficiently to email.
