Hey, I'm Ellie! (she/they) I'm a trauma therapist specializing in healing from complex trauma, and working through shame to get to the heart of problems. I believe that we all have shame, and that shame points us to our biggest hurts and our best opportunities for healing. I think we’re all doing our best to feel our feelings, but so many things get in our way – trauma, stigma, insecurity, difficult relationships. The strategies I bring to my clients are aimed at experiencing our lives more fully, by establishing healthy boundaries, grieving past trauma, and connecting to the things and relationships that bring us joy.
I specialize in using transformational trauma therapies including EMDR and parts work to treat many different forms of complex trauma. Maybe you experienced a difficult childhood, traumatic loss, or a harmful relationship. Maybe your trauma shows up in relationships, or in self-esteem. I hope to help you connect with your best self.
If you've survived any of the experiences I've named here, I feel for you, and you deserve to heal and feel better. I'm here when you're ready. Reach out with your questions, or schedule a session with me. My website has more information on my work and on EMDR therapy, but you're always welcome to just give me a call, text, or email directly.
