I am skilled at helping people reduce anxiety and alleviate the impact that trauma has had in their lives. I enjoy supporting people through relationship struggles or major life changes. I want to help you feel like you are in control of your emotions and your reactions, instead of feeling like they are controlling you. I pride myself on being highly empathetic and providing support/guidance in a non-judgmental way. I am able to connect with people easily to help you feel comfortable enough to look within. It's within this safe therapeutic relationship that authentic change can occur.
I am certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which is a highly effective method for treating trauma, anxiety, phobias, mood disorders, and more. This method uses bilateral stimulation to activate the right brain and the left brain so that you can actually process your experiences, which will reduce unpleasant symptoms & suffering.
