For years I've helped people overcome the barriers that keep them stuck. My clients grapple with general problems of living, such as relational difficulties, grief, life transitions and unwanted habits. I also help people with Depression, Anxiety Disorders, PTSD, Dissociative Disorders, and other emotional difficulties. I have extensive training and experience in psychodynamic therapy, Trauma Therapy, Internal Family Systems, body-centered coping skills and mindfulness.I also use CBT techniques.
Beyond traditional therapies, I teach clients a number of techniques to help them relax and soothe painful emotions.These include advanced, rapid relaxation techniques, Internal Family Systems and self-hypnosis. I use Clinical Hypnosis to treat many issues, including: Irritable Bowel Syndrome, pain, phobias, weight loss, grief, smoking, bruxism and peak-performance.
My office is on the #73 bus line, convenient to Harvard Square, and the #72 from Watertown Square. It is also convenient to Route 2, and the Mass Pike, close to Cambridge, Watertown, Newton, Waltham and Brookline. I offer a 30 minute phone consultation to potential clients at no charge.
