Trauma has been the throughline of my twenty-plus years in practice — I can hold the worst of it, but often it’s the quieter kind: all the ways childhood didn’t give someone what they needed, and the coping skills they built in response that no longer serve them.
I work beneath the surface of what’s being said: tracking what’s happening energetically and somatically, naming what I see directly, and holding a container loving enough that my clients can face what they’ve never quite been able to face alone. This isn’t technique-driven. It’s closer to being truly witnessed, for the first time, where the pattern began.
