While I am trained in traditional, evidence based methods, I believe that counseling is not a "one size fits all" approach. . You will find creative positive and unique ways to reach your goals. I am a Certified Grief Educator, and studied for many years with renowned grief expert, David Kessler as well as leaders in the field of grief and loss.
I not only bring over 30 years professional experience in the mental health/counseling field, but deep and profound life experiences . My background and personal experience enhance my compassion, empathy and intuitive healing abilities . She is widowed, and an expert in teaching and supporting grieving individuals to put specific skills into action, experience relief and find hope. Group provides inspiration and healing. We learn to find a "forever" place in our hearts for our loved ones . We learn to be patient and to live with our loss. We find comfort in a very special group of widowed people who "get it."
