I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor. My office is located in Mesa near both the US-60 and Loop-101 freeways. I provide individual counseling, family counseling and coaching for people dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, pain, substance use or those interested in improving their lives by building on their strengths. I began working in the counseling field in 1996 and have experience in multiple levels of care including private practice, out patient clinics, residential treatment, acute hospitalization and detox.
I have experience working with members of the military, law enforcement, first responders, aviation employees, athletes and those working in other high stress fields. It is often difficult for these individuals and family members to ask for guidance and support when they need it most.
I believe that supporting individuals and families to achieve their wellness goals provides the optimal environment for lasting change.
