We were not created to navigate life's challenges on our own. Often times we need others in these periods in our lives. It is my honor to walk with people during these difficult periods of life and help guide them towards healing. As the counselor for Shield of Hope Counseling, I aim to see restoration for people in their relationships with God, themselves, and others.
I have worked with different types of client issues including trauma and abuse, spiritual issues, mental disorders, attachment issues, and adolescent issues. I enjoy working with individuals and families.
I am a Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner, eager to work with children from hard places, such as foster or adoptive, and their parents. I am also an EMDR trained counselor, which is a specific modality for working with trauma. I am also a Christian counselor, believing that a relationship with Jesus is a vital part of restoration.
