Hi, I’m Ellen, a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern.
I work with children, teens, and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, life transitions, behavioral concerns, relationship challenges, and self-esteem issues. My approach is collaborative and holistic, tailored to meet each client’s emotional and developmental needs. With younger children, I use Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) to help them express and process emotions in a natural, supportive environment.
With teens and young adults, I blend DBT, CBT, mindfulness, and somatic practices to build emotional regulation, resilience, and self-awareness. Every session is tailored to the client — whether that means developing skills, using breathing or creative techniques, or simply creating a safe space to feel heard and understood.
