Not accepting new clients
I strive to offer a warm, supportive environment for people to explore their concerns, develop greater self-awareness, and learn new ways of coping in the world. I take a collaborative and active role in helping clients to identify and build a more authentic and purposeful life.
My approach to treatment integrates cognitive-behavioral therapy, positive psychology, and mindfulness. I have found that most people benefit from learning stress management techniques to quiet down the fight-or-flight response and decrease levels of distress, making it easier to engage in the processes that build on strengths and promote positive change.
I understand that change is difficult and can feel overwhelming. We work together to create a plan that is meaningful and realistic for you. NOTE: New in-person group forming fall 2023. This will be a 5-week educational and experiential group. Contact me if interested.
