Hi, my name is Dr. Stacey Adair I have a Ph.D. in clinical psychology and I have been a licensed clinical psychologist for twenty-four years. Together we will work to help you understand yourself as well as the challenges that have you seeking therapy. My approach is very collaborative.
My communication style includes a great deal of authenticity, I have often been called "a straight shooter" which many appreciate. I like to model, hope, confidence, and healthy boundaries with a good deal of humor. This is the feedback I’ve been given by my clients over the years. I believe this creates a safe, empowering, and positive tone in sessions.
From the initial session, we will work together. I do not set goals for people. I utilize my training and clinical experience; I use my intuition. I find it helpful to quantify the markers of any symptoms or impairment you are experiencing. We will also quantify the indications of success towards your goals so that you can clearly see your progress
