I come to this work with a background in psychology, art, and queer studies–fields that have always stretched the edges of my curiosity, asking not only how we suffer, but what it means. With a clinical focus in LGBTQIA+ affirming practice and an academic background in trans/gender expansive research and scholarship, I see therapy as a collaborative space to examine hopes, fears, and the impact of personal history while simultaneously equipping clients with the tools and skills to navigate the realities of their present lives.
Guided by a psychodynamic, relational-cultural, and intersectional feminist lens, I view every client within the context of the many systems they move through and see struggles not as pathologies, but as meaningful responses to the conditions in which we exist.
I view healing as a creative act that is both alive and deeply personal and aim not to impose meaning but rather help clients discover their own with compassion and curiosity. Above all, I am committed to creating an affirming, nonjudgmental space where all parts of you are unconditionally welcome and heard.
