A course of treatment must feel absolutely right for the client to experience success. I feature a collaborative model in order to obtain optimal results. With more than 25 years of experience, my approach to therapy focuses on an individual's issues as well as their strengths in order to maximize both potential and growth. During the course of my career I have had the opportunity to study and to put into practice many different therapeutic techniques. As I continue to practice, I utilize these techniques to best target specific issues for individual personalities.
Adult and adolescent work is focused on goal oriented treatment. CBT, along with a humanistic approach offers my clients a comfortable working relationship. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, OCD, depression, mood disorders, and relationship issues. I am also a certified in Mental Health Integrative Medicine, Mindfulness and DBT
For children, I find parent and/or family involvement is the key to a successful outcome. Methodologies include; play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, DIR, creative arts therapy and family therapy. I have extensive experience with anxiety, OCD, autism spectrum disorder, social skills deficits, ADHD, mood disorders,behavioral issues and more.
